Abra Seay earned her bachelor’s degree in Exceptional Student Education at the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She is entering her 22nd year in education at Flagler Schools in sunny Florida, having taught PreK ESE, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade as a classroom teacher and grades K-6 as an Inclusion Specialist and Academic Coach. Additionally she has been an Early Learning Specialist and the Coordinator of Early Childhood Education. Currently she is a high school Assistant Principal, has five wonderful children and three precious grandchildren.

During her 20+ years in education, Lindsey has been an elementary and secondary classroom teacher, an instructional coach, and a specialist in teacher induction. She has collaborated with teachers and administrators nationwide to develop learning partnerships that focus on evaluating and implementing High Yield Instructional Strategies. Her instructional coach and specialist background have led her to the philosophy that improvement must be viewed as a continuum, a means to refine and adapt the improvement of instructional practices continually. She has presented this theme and many others on teaching and learning at numerous conferences in FL, KY, TN, NC, and PA. Her contributions to Learning-Focused include developing new resources and workshops, providing leadership and instructional training and coaching.

Don has been an educator for 20+ years. Before joining Learning-Focused, he taught High School and Middle School Science and was a school administrator. Don has participated in school evaluations focused on implementing High Yield Strategies. In addition, he partnered with various state DOE to support leaders as well as present at numerous conferences hosted by multiple leadership organizations in Florida, NC, Ohio, WV, TN, and KY Don leads product development, provides leadership training and coaching, and coaches educators in the implementation of the High-Yield strategies.
