Tracy Easterling

 

School Success Superstar

Tracy Easterling has been an educator for 34 years. She began her career as a fifth-grade teacher, teaching all subjects for 10 years, followed by 11 years as a middle school mathematics teacher. She then transitioned to a district-level role, serving as a K–12 Curriculum Specialist for Math and Science for 9 years. In this position, she led efforts to enhance instructional practices across grade levels

Tracy later served as the district’s Extended Learning Coordinator for K–8 for 2 years, during which she developed and implemented summer school and tutoring programs aimed at closing achievement gaps. Both programs were recognized by the Tennessee Department of Education as exemplary.

Currently, Tracy is an assistant principal at a Title I elementary school, where she coaches and collaborates with teachers, tutors, and interventionists to improve student growth and achievement. In addition, she has served as a consultant with Learning Focused for the past 15 years, supporting educators in implementing high-impact instructional strategies.

As an instructional leader, Tracy is committed to continuous growth and professional learning, both for herself and those she supports. She states, “Teaching is my passion, and getting better at it is my job.” Her diverse experiences have given her a broad perspective and deep understanding of effective instructional practices. She is well-equipped to empower teachers to elevate their instruction and positively impact student outcomes.
